About Us

Hey!

I'm Katie, the maker behind Two Black Sheep Clothing Co.. I create all these fun makes at my in-home studio in North Carolina. I have always been creative and enjoy making things with my hands.

Having a large homeschooling family, I have always done what I could to minimize costs where possible. When my kiddos were babies, I learned how to knit to make my own "woolies" for cloth diapering. As they got older, and out of diapers, I experimented with sewing clothing.

Inspiration

My kids LOVED being able to request pockets, hoods, and other design features. They enjoyed picking out fabric in their favorite colors and designs.

When kiddo #4 was a baby, I discovered "Grow with Me" patterns and it was like a match made in heaven! I was able to use all my favorite fabrics and make clothes that would last more than a couple of months or a season (kids grow so fast!).

After seeing how many others valued the same things that I did, I decided to start my shop. I'm so happy to be able to provide fun and unique clothing with as many natural, sustainable, and good quality fabrics as possible. I focus mostly on "Grow with Me" items so that you can get the most out of your investment.
